Zygis Sestokas 6'5" Shooting Guard - Vilnius Lithuania Hofstra University Class of '09 2009 Video Highlights Click Here "Ziggy" as he is known is a versatile shooting guard who is originally from Vilnius Lithuania. Ziggy played his senior year of high school basketball at national power, Statesville Christian in Statesville, NC. He holds the single game scoring record for the most points ever scored in a high school basketball game in the state of North Carolina (76). Zygis was recruited by Indiana, Oral Roberts, Boston University, Purdue and several others coming out of high school. He started virtually every game as a sophomore and played over 16 minutes per game this season and worked his way back into the starting lineup for post season play. Hofstra won 21 games this season and was considered a bubble team for the NCAA Tournament. An incredible jump shooter who is a good rebounder and defender. Many times he was forced to play the 4/5 position defensively for Hofstra and had to guard players several inches taller than himself.
