The newest Division 1 school in the state, NJIT has gotten their second committment for the 2007-08 season.
6-foot-8 Paulius Skema has decided to attend the Newark school. Skema is from Lithuania and attends Veritas
Christian Academy in Fletcher, NC, near Asheville. He played for the Lithuanian under-16 national team that
finished 4th in the European championships in Greece in 2004.

NJIT Coach Jim Casciano comments on the newest Highlander: "He is a '4' who has the skills to play on the wing.
This is his first year in this country, so he has a transition to go through, playing in a new country. This will be a
great year for him to develop across the board. His school plays a very competitive schedule against schools
such as Laurinburg, Patterson and Oak Hill."
